Month 14: Decade Journey
Month 14, March 2025.
($1 million USD) in 5 years (60 months). I changed the name of the challenge, 5 years is not a long time, I do want to make $1mm in 5 years, but I want to commit to this project for a decade, so I also bought the domain: decadejourney.com lol
Where I am
Feeling excited. I got my FIRST ONLINE DOLLAR EVER. Sold my first project on Upwork: Setting up a cold outreach campaign on Apollo. I have also finished my website: stetelle.com
Two founders from Barcelona, a SaaS early stage company, $555 dollars (still to be paid).
Very small amount, but honestly I am super happy. I can finally monetize my knowledge without an hourly pay, that feels great.
The Udemy course took way longer than expected, I am still not done with it, even though I already have the script I am still recording it. But I will definitely finish it in April and have it published on Udemy & LinkedIn.
March was also a great month in terms of defining where I am going and next steps. I feel afraid, like jumping into the unknown but I am also in a much better position than the last time I went full time being an entrepreneur. I now know my shortcomings: I am anxious, give up easily on things and also have shiny object syndrome.
So I drafted a 10 year plan (why I changed the name of the challenge). I put it all on paper, for cash flow I will use my clients on Upwork + LeadGen/Automation Agency, while I build my reputation online.
I have it all drawn on a Samsung note:
Where I am going
I want to start sharing my journey and starting DOING things and SHOWING the world.
What I plan to achieve in April:
Finally launch my course and publish it on Udemy
Start posting more on LinkedIn about the Decade Journey
Ramp up my clients for Automation / LeadGen in Upwork
I have also noticed a terrible habit cripping in: doom-scrolling on instagram/youtube reels. It is terrible. I will 100% put that in control in April, already have some safeguards for it (screen-time + scheduled focused working hours) .
Financials
Money made: $555 (1st online dollar, to be paid)
Money spent: $81.03 (Squarespace), R$468 reais
